The Parks will predominantly be built on low grade farmland within easy access of local facilities. All the lodges will be built from low or zero carbon materials such as log, will be well furnished and insulated above the requirements of BS 3632, and will be constructed so as to conform with the Caravans Act. The Parks will generate their own power with wind turbines and solar arrays; recycle their grey and waste water through reed beds; heat themselves with water source heat pumps in the integral lakes; grow their own fruit and vegetables, both on individual plots and on collective farmland, and where possible farm their own livestock.

At the same time these Eco Parks will provide valuable amenity land for the neighbouring communities - woodland walks and fishing, swimming and boating lakes, as well as adventure playgrounds, or golf courses, or other country pursuits.
